Liverpool look set to lose goalkeeper Pepe Reina permanently, with reports in Spain suggesting that he has already agreed a fee to exit the club next summer.
31-year-old Reina moved to Anfield from La Liga outfit Villarreal during the summer of 2005 and established himself as the club's first-choice stopper over a subsequent seven-year stint on Merseyside.
Despite his overwhelming popularity among fans, however, Reina departed Liverpool on a temporary switch prior to the close of the summer transfer window after reuniting with former Reds boss Rafael Benitez at Serie A side Napoli.
Doubts have persisted that Reina was ever likely to make a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool having signed former Sunderland star Simon Mignolet back in June.
Barcelona have been persistently linked with a move for Reina, with the Catalan giants' current number one - Victor Valdes - having made no secret of his desire to depart the Camp Nou and pursue a fresh challenge following the climax of the current campaign.
And, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, Spain international Reina has already agreed a price to depart Anfield.
Reports suggest that any potential deal will be worth a total of €5 million, with half of that fee supposedly to be paid in the first year and the second installment due a year after by whoever wishes to sign him.
