Barcelona chief agrees contract extension

Barcelona's director of football Andoni Zubizarreta has agreed terms on a contract extension until 2016, reports Goal.com
The 52-year old official has committed his future to the club, following three success filled seasons with the team he represented as a player. 
The former Spain international's previous deal was set to expire at the end of the coming season, however he has now decided to stay on for a further two years. 
"He will be signing his new contract over the next few days," read a statement on Barca's official website.
The former Barcelona goalkeeper and director of football is currently in his fourth campaign with the Spanish giants.

In that time he has assisted the club to claim two La Liga titles, one Champions League, one Copa del Rey and the FIFA Club World Cup. 
The former shot stopper enjoyed eight successful years at the Catalan during his playing career. 
The reputable former Valencia keeper was previously the most capped player for the Spanish national team before Iker Casillas and Xavi broke his record.
